ALL ELSE IS IRRELEVANT

Motorcycle racing is a combination of science, patience and skill focused on optimum performance of the bike and maximum engagement from yourself. The intense focus required in a race - to push to your limit, to be tactical and methodical, and above all be smooth every lap - is the quintessential challenge in the extreme.  In that moment, all else in life is irrelevant.

HENDRIX-STUDIO RACING builds and races motorcycles to compete in WERA, CCS, and to participate in high performance Track Day events.  Founded by William Hodges Hendrix, AIA, his career as an award-winning architect has been combined with competitive/adventure sports throughout his life including tennis, soccer, offshore yacht racing, volleyball, competitive shooting, and rock climbing.  Since 2000 his interest in motorcycles has led to racing, teaching, and bike building.

In the past, his creative spirit married to a fierce competitive drive has led him to build and race several 2000 – 2004 Triumph 955iR’s from 2004 - 2007.   Together with Donnie Unger of Duc Pond Motorsports, William built and raced a 2007 Ducati 1098 and a 2000 Ducati 748Race with WERA and CCS.

His current design projects include several bikes as well as the PS1000R 4v featured here.
